And race fans had plenty to celebrate. Down at the legendary Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR's Sprint Cup and Nationwide series put on great shows, as did the sports cars of the Grand-Am Rolex series. Speaking of legendary tracks, the Indy Racing League spent its holiday weekend in upstate New York on the fast and challenging Watkins Glen circuit. And the winner was a surprise.
